Wijnand Jongen is a globally recognized author, keynote speaker and futurists on retail and e-commerce. Wijnand is co-founder and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Ecommerce Europe, the European umbrella organization with more than 75,000 merchants.

Wijnand has been into retail and ecommerce since the mid-nineties of the last century. First as an online retail entrepreneur, later as founder and CEO of the Dutch e-commerce association Thuiswinkel.org.

He is the author of the bestselling book ‘The End of Online Shopping: the future of retail in a world that is always connected’. The book has been translated into several languages including Chinese. Other editions and translations, including a special English edition for South-East Asia are in preparation.

After his first degree in Science of Political Communication (Università Cattolica of Milan) he received a Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistralis) in “Brand Management and Marketing” at the IULM University of Milan.

His working experience began in 2006 with his first international experience being in Shanghai, China working with Anglecomm Agency, where he supported clients such as Artemide, Nike, Adidas, etc.

Upon his return to Italy, Massimo became the assistant to prof. Daniel Tirelli (University of Milan) and soon was appointed Client Service Director of the POPAI Italy Association.

In 2014 he moved to Chicago and joined the HQ of POPAI becoming VP of POPAI Global, in charge of the coordination of the 16 chapters around the world. He supported the opening of the POPAI China office and the redeveloped a few chapters that were facing obstacles.

In late 2015 he started a new project named GRA (Global Retail Alliance) and became CHAIRMAN of FIRAE (Forum for International Retail Associations), a network of 45 associations of retailers from 20 different countries.

In 2016 he started partnering with tourist destinations, malls and airports to launch the Dream big retail experience. Today he has shop in shops at the hotel in New York, Princess hotel in Acapulco and Burj Khalifa in Dubai and other locations coming up. 

He is also a worldwide speaker, reaching thousands of people each year.

He is currently heading Retail Business Development at CapitaLand and manages its third-party managed business in Asia. Prior to this, he led Investments at CapitaLand Mall Trust. He was also previously based in Kuala Lumpur as Head of Investment and Asset Management at CapitaLand Malaysia Mall Trust.

Gerry has also led landmark capital market transactions in Asia’s two largest capital markets including the first ever listed Business Trust Rights Issue (US$235m) for CitySpring Infrastructure Trust, Singapore and the largest private convertible note (US$150m) for Golden State Environment Group Corporation, Hong Kong. During his career, Gerry has managed multi-billion worth of assets in real estate and infrastructure sectors, leveraging on his knowledge of real assets investment and asset enhancements.

Gerry graduated with a Masters of Business and a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and is also a CFA holder.

Previously Doc held senior executive roles in global banks HSBC and ANZ and was Asia-Pacific Practice Partner for Data Science and Advanced Analytics at Teradata where he provided analytics consulting for telco, retail, utilities, and banking. She went on a sabbatical and decided to follow not her heart, but her heartbreak, and shifted her focus from increasing brands' market share and company margins to investing time and talent in the Philippines' human capital. An artist’s wife and mother of three, Peachy obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines. Jason Cruz is the Head of Digital Strategy of McCann Worldgroup Philippines, the largest and leading integrated marketing communications agency in the country. He is a lecturer, module designer, and Track Chair at the IIDM Certified Digital Marketer program, the Philippines’ most popular digital marketing certification program.

At 29, he is also the youngest member of McCann Worldgroup’s global network of social marketing leads and McCann Worldgroup Asia-Pacific’s Digital Leadership Council.

His work is experienced in the industry through some of the country’s biggest brands and businesses, with Jason having worked on over a hundred brands in nearly six years with McCann Worldgroup. He is also a prolific speaker at industry events. Outside of social- and digital marketing, Jason holds a Kettlebell Fitness Trainer – Level 1 (KFT-1) certification, is a trained Emergency Medical Responder, and an adventure hiker.
