Mr. Lee started his career at Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the Philippines and rose to become Chief Financial Officer in Indonesia, Japan/Korea and Greater China. He then held General Manager and Managing Director roles in China and UK/Ireland, culminating as Regional CEO for P&G Northern Europe.

Mr. Lee graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Accountancy degree from De La Salle University, and Completed Executive Education program at IESE Business School, University of Navarra.

Senator Sonny Angara is the Senate’s leading voice for tax reform to raise the take-home pay of ordinary workers and to make our country a more attractive investment destination. He believes that a modern and progressive tax system can be a tool for economic progress, social justice and happier families.

He has worked for the passage of laws providing tax exemptions and benefits for workers’ bonuses and 13th month pay, persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and OFW balikbayan boxes. He wants to simplify the process of tax filing and payment for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to help small businesses penetrate the global market.

Senator Sonny has served as the representative of Aurora Province for three terms before he was elected senator in 2013. He is now the chairman of the Senate committees on local government, and ways and means.

He took up his elementary and high school studies at Xavier School, and finished his undergraduate degree in International Relations at the London School of Economics. He went on to study law at the University of the Philippines College of Law, and earned his Master of Laws degree from the Harvard Law School.

He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate, retail, and environmental branding and identity system design. He was the principal designer to create the complete signage system maps of the Mass Transit Railway Corporation in Hong Kong. As Undersecretary for the Consumer Protection Group, Atty. Pascua oversees the Bureau of Philippine Standards, the Consumer Protection and Advocacy Bureau, and the Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau.

Undersecretary Pascua previously held a government position as the Deputy Director General for Technical Education and Skills Development Operations of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) from 2010 to 2016, wherein he provided advice and assistance to the Director General with regards to the formulation and implementation of policies of the agency, as well as to the supervision of the operational activities of all the divisions under the Office of the Director General. He also served as a legal assistant in the Bureau of Employment Services of the Department of Labour and Employment (DOLE) in 1981. He has also been involved in the legal matters of several private entities like the City land Development Corporation where he served as legal counsel.

To date, he is a partner of the Yulo, Aliling, Pascua & Zuñiga Law Offices, but is on leave since 2010 due to his government.

For the past 22 years, Rissa Mananquil-Trillo has made a mark as multi-hyphenate achiever, establishing her expertise as an entrepreneur, a beauty expert, a journalist, and a professional model. Writing was Rissa’s first love, and it was with this medium where she developed in-depth consumer knowledge on beauty and fashion. She was first granted a teenage lifestyle column with national broadsheet Philippine Daily Inquirer in 1994. She later started writing for The Philippine Star and Rissa's popular beauty and fashion advice column Style S.O.S has been running weekly on national broadsheet for 10 years now.

In 2000, Rissa professionalized her modeling career, joining the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP). Her leadership skills lead her to serve nine years as board member for PMAP, with five years as its president spearheading professionalism, during which she instituted significant reforms in the modeling industry. The policies she implemented have become standard practice in the industry today. She was later given an award at the 1st Philippine Fashion Ball for her outstanding leadership and significant contribution to the industry.

As a recognized beauty authority, she took on a beauty expert campaign in 2007 with global beauty brand, Pond’s, where she was later asked to come on board as consultant to the brand. She has been recognized by Cosmopolitan Philippines as one of the “30 Power Pinays”, while Mega Magazine acknowledged her as one of the “30 Women Shaping Style & Changing Culture.” A graduate of BS Management from the Ateneo de Manila University where she was a Dean’s Lister, she further honed her business skills at the Asian Institute of Management, taking part in Strategic Brand Management and Marketing Distribution Management post-graduate courses. With her passion for brand building and expertise in the beauty industry, she became a business owner in October 2013 and launched Happy Skin—the Philippines’ favorite homegrown brand of skin-caring makeup— together with co-founder Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez. In a span of two years, Happy Skin has set up 80 counters across the country, won 25 beauty awards from top fashion and beauty glossies, was awarded by online news giant Rappler as a brand leader in social media, was hailed by Ayala Malls as the Most Promising Retailer for 2015, and garnered Watsons Philippines’ award as the Most Promising New Cosmetic Brand for 2015.

After a year of online operations, Straightforward was offered to open its first pop-up store at U.P. Town Center. Jude has 15 years of experience in the Retail Industry. He has acquired substantial managerial exposure in working with various organizations; leading project teams, business units, and presently performing general management duties for one of the biggest retail conglomerates in the Philippines.

In his current position as General Manager for the Suyen Group, Jude is responsible for the day-to-day operations of 48 brands with 1096 stores and 7000 employees in three countries. He is also part of the Executive Committee involved in formulating strategies, directions, and short and long-range plans for all companies owned by the Suyen Group.

As Suyen ventures into the food retail business, Jude works closely with the Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Bryan Lim, who is responsible in bringing in new brands for the Group. Jude works closely with foreign principals to ensure a successful opening of the food outlets, while adhering to prescribed standards and procedures.

Prior to his experience in the Retail Industry, Jude worked for 7 years with the Management and IT Consulting Group of Sycip, Gorres, and Velayo (SGV) where he developed his skills in people management, systems improvement, and financials analysis. He further broadened his exposure to IT systems by working in and out of the country for Headstrong Philippines Inc. (formerly James Martin & Co.) as a Project Manager before finally settling into his management duties at Suyen Corporation.

Prior to his career as an actor, he worked in corporate setting and served as Marketing and Production Manager, General Manager, and Division Manager in various companies. He is also the President of Cole & Ash International Systems Corporation, a company which distributes a line of office furniture, seating, raised floors and aluminum kitchen cabinets.

He graduated BS Business Management from De La Salle University. He also studied culinary arts from the International School of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management.

Some of his TV shows include “My Binondo Girl”, “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode “Gayuma”, “Walang Hanggan”, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”, and “Till I Met You”. He also appeared in movies including “Mano Po 7”, “The Achy Breaky Hearts”, “Just the 3 of Us” and on the MMFF 2015 hit “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin”. He is also an endorser for TV advertisements and was featured in several magazines.

He has received various awards for his acting including PMPC Star Awards for Television and Guillermo Mendoza Box-Office Entertainment Awards.

He partnered with his friends to open Wangfu Café Chain of Restaurants in 2013, which serves Singaporean-Chinese food and with branches in Serendra, Tomas Morato, and UP Town Center.

He later opened another restaurant Luna J Filipino Gastropub—named after Filipino hero and painter Juan Luna which specializes in Filipino dishes, and located in Il Terrazzo in Tomas Morato.

Johnlu is a dedicated and multi-awarded entrepreneur with more than 35 years of experience in food retail industry. 

He completed his undergraduate and masteral studies, both with academic honors, from the University of the Philippines and worked as assistant professor in university. His realized his biggest retail opportunities in 1989 when the SM Supermalls began its expansion nationwide.

In 1989, he established the first branch of The French Baker at the SM North Edsa Annex upon the invitation of the SM management.

The French Baker takes the idea of the neighborhood bakery to the next level and allows every Filipino to enjoy freshly-baked, high-quality, and affordable breads. The bakery has now 60 branches.

He also brought the local franchise of Chatime from Taiwan in 2011, which has expanded all over the Philippines and expected to close to 70 branches by end of 2017.

With his dedication to develop his products, The French Baker was awarded MARKETING COMPANY OF THE YEAR, the highest award bestowed by the Philippine Marketing Association in 1994. Subsequently it was granted the Superbrand status in 2005. He has also received several awards including the Ten Outstanding Young Men of the Philippines in 1997, Ernst & Young Emerging Master Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006 and the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award in 2013.

Susan has a strong advocacy in the realm of wellness, having established Parenting, Teaching, Healing Initiatives and Advancements (PARTHIA) and WorkWell Asia, a health risk assessment and profiling firm. She is a Certified Master Coach (Behavioral Coaching Institute; International Coaching Council); has a BS Degree in Psychology (Magna Cum laude), MA Social Psychology (Coursework completed at the Ateneo de Manila University). She received advanced executive education in the areas of Business Strategy from BTS of Australia, Leadership and Executive Coaching from Marshall Goldsmith, The Rosenberg Group, and attended the HR Executive program by the University of Michigan.

Gary has been in market research for two decades within which he gained wide experience in doing qualitative and quantitative research on FMCG, banking/finance, healthcare, automotive, political and social.

He was with the Department of Finance before joining Frank Small & Associates where he rose from the ranks until he became Managing Director of TNS Philippines in 2008.

Gary also served as president of the Marketing and Opinion Research Society (MORES) in 2009. In February 2016, Gary was appointed CEO of the Insights group of Kantar Philippines. He now oversees Kantar Added Value, Kantar Millward Brown and Kantar TNS
