Dennis is a self-made industrialist who began his entrepreneurial journey as a teenager with a Betamax and VHS rental shop in Pampanga, Philippines. Over the years, he ventured into cable television, pioneering the first data-over-cable service in Central Luzon with ComClark Network and Technology Corporation.
In 2007, together with his wife Grace, Dennis founded Converge ICT Solutions Inc., a fiber internet and technology solutions provider. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, they successfully listed the company on the Philippine Stock Exchange in 2020, marking one of the largest initial public offerings (IPOs) at that time.
His vision for digital transformation expanded beyond Central Luzon to Metro Manila, where Converge launched Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) fixed broadband services in 2013. Focusing on building a robust fiber network, he earned recognition as a game-changer and futurist in the industry.
His achievements have been acknowledged through numerous awards, including Entrepreneur of the Year Philippines 2022 and Master Entrepreneur at the 2020 Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards. He continues to lead Converge towards new milestones, aiming to provide world-class broadband services to Filipinos and promote digital inclusion nationwide.
